2010 SLATE Meeting Schedule

Thanks to everyone who volunteered to host a meeting in 2010. The good news is that we had a great response – the “bad news” only 10 meetings to schedule. Its great that a number of institutions will be hosting for the first time. Also, we are going to try something different this year and have a meeting in August. We’ll see how that works out. So, what I have for locations and dates are as follows:
  • January – no meeting
  • February 10 – City Colleges of Chicago
  • March 17 – Lewis University
  • April 21 – Governors State University
  • May 12 – Northern Illinois University
  • June 16 – Loyola University Chicago
  • July 21 – Dominican University
  • August 18 – Northwestern University
  • September 24 – Goshen College
  • October 21-22 – University of Chicago (2010 SLATE Conference)
  • November 17 – Elmhurst College
  • December 15 – Roosevelt University
We need to lock in these dates so if this doesn’t work for you, please let Ken Sadowski know as soon as possible (before Wednesday's meeting would be good).

Thanks again to everyone!

Who knows where to download XRumer 5.0 Palladium?
Help, please. All recommend this program to effectively advertise on the Internet, this is the best program!

What is the geographical area that SLATE covers?
With so many of us using Wimba and other online collaboration tools, could we set something up to be more inclusive? We had hoped to host a meeting in Grand Rapids, MI so we could model how well we can conduct online meetings. It just seems like you are doing so much good work that we hate to miss, but can't dedicate 6+ hours of travel time for a meeting.

Thanks for the Apple capture! We are BB9, iTunes U and Wimba CS.

We're exploring some online collaboration options for individuals to participate remotely during the sessions. More details to be posted as soon as they are available!
