Congrats to NIU Faculty Development and Instructional Design Center on Receiving 2012 Blackboard Catalyst Award

Congratulations to Northern Illinois University, SLATE member institution, on the NIU Faculty Development and Instructional Design Center being awarded the 2012 Blackboard Catalyst Award for Community Collaboration. This award recognizes leaders within the Blackboard user community who encourage collaboration, and share advice, insight, content and effective practices with fellow educators outside their own institutions.

Jason Rhode, Asst. Director of the Center, accepted the award on behalf of NIU at the Catalyst Award Luncheon at BbWorld 2012.



Ken Sadowski, Executive Director of SLATE, was in attendance to congratulate NIU on this recognition of NIU's contribution both the SLATE and the Blackboard Community at large.
