Prepare for the SLATE Conference: Download the Program Book Now

We are just ten days away from the start of the 10th Annual SLATE Conference, October 11-12, at Northern Illinois University Naperville. Here are a few suggestions to prepare to get the most out of the conference:

Download the Conference Program Book

The program book, while it will be available in a printed form at check-in, is available in a variety of mobile-friendly formats.  You are encouraged to download the conference program on your laptop or mobile device and begin reviewing the nearly 60 sessions that will be offered.

Also available this year, we have a mobile-optimized program for the conference in the form a a web app. You can access the mobile app directly at j.mp/slate12mobile and add a bookmark on your mobile device if you wish, to access the conference program as a mobile app on your smart phone.

Smart Phone or Tablet

The standard registration rate has been extended for 1 more week, so thoose who register by Friday, October 5th can stil receive the stardard individual registration rate of only $150 per person and group registration discounts are still available. For those who have attended the conference in the past, please remember that we have a new location for the SLATE Conference: NIU Naperville Conference Center! Amenities that SLATE Conference attendees will enjoy include:

A Few More Items of Note

• On Thursday, 10/11, registration will begin at 11:00am. On Friday, 10/12, registration opens at 7:30am
• On Thursday, 10/11, the vendor area will be open at 11:00am. On Friday, 10/12, vendor area opens at 8:00am
• On Friday, 10/12, breakfast will be served from 7:30am - 8:45am

For Presenters

If you are a presenter, please make note of the following:

• Be sure to bring your VGA adapter with you for whatever computer you will be using
• At the end of your session be sure to collect the evaluations. Those are for your information and reference.

For Vendors

• On Thursday, 10/11, you can begin to setup at 9:30am so you can be ready at 11:00am when the vendor area opens
• If you are also presenting, be sure to bring your VGA adapter with you for whatever computer you will be using
• Equipment, booth materials, etc., can be sent to the conference center directly but should not arrive before October 8th.
