SLATE announces an open call for proposals for the 11th Annual SLATE Conference, this year being held on October 10-11, 2013 at the Northern Illinois University regional campus in Naperville, IL. CLICK HERE to submit your proposal or go to the SLATE Web Site for additional information. The deadline for submissions to be considered is July 15, 2013. Those presentations that are accepted will be notified by July 30, 2013.
The SLATE Conference is one of the premier educational technology conferences in the country, known for offering a wide variety of topics ranging from best practices, to innovative teaching resources, to cutting edge technologies. Speakers are encouraged to submit proposals that focus on using technology in teaching and learning regardless of the platform or application. This year we are very pleased and excited to announce that we are partnering with the Midwest Moodle Moot to make this event even more exciting, informative, and engaging. For your presentation, a projector, white-board, flip chart and wireless Internet access will be provided. You will need to bring your own laptop, VGA adapter, and speakers if needed. Contact the conference coordinator for additional information or further questions.
