Before, during, and after the conference, there are many ways to connect! We're created a few social networking opportunities using some of the most popular social networking tools. Feel free to begin connecting now using any of the following tools:
- Facebook: Join the SLATE '10 group in Facebook to connect with other conference attendees, share photos, videos, and links to resources shared during the conference.
- Twitter: Tag all your conference-related tweets using the hashtag #slate10 to add your tweets to the conference-related conversations via Twitter. Also, follow @slategroup on Twitter for conference news and updates as well as monthly SLATE Group meeting notices and notes.
- Twubs: Twitter group built around content aggregated from the conference hashtag, #slate10, is available at http://twubs.com/slate10. Those tweeting during the conference, please also join the conference Twub! Members can easily tweet conference-related photos, videos, and links that will automatically be tagged with the conference hashtag and aggregated with other conference-specific social media.
- SlideShare: Are you a conference presenter or vendor? Upload you presentation to SlideShare and then add it to the SLATE '10 event on SlideShare to share with attendees
- Diigo: If you are using a social bookmarking tool like Diigo to keep track of resources during the conference, join the SLATE '10 Diigo group at http://groups.diigo.com/group/slate10 and share your conference-related bookmarks with the group!
- Other social networking tools: Use the tag slate10 whenever posting to other online social networking tools. If you have other tools that you recommend for the SLATE Conference, leave a comment here with your suggestions!
