SLATE Colleagues--if your campus is engaged in, starting, or thinking about beginning an ePortfolio initiative, this summit would be a helpful and informative way to network with other Chicago-area schools doing ePortfolios.

Loyola is excited to host the next Chicago-Area ePortfolio Summit – a tradition initiated by our colleagues at DePaul last spring – as a way to engage in shared learning, idea-generating, and brainstorming ways to move ePortfolio practices forward on campuses across the Chicagoland area! We hope you can join us at the summit on Friday, November 16 with the goal of:

1) Learning from our colleagues at other campuses about how to better use ePortfolios pedagogically,

2) Understanding how ePortfolios can have an impact on learning, assessment, and professional development,

3) Generating ideas about how to better build a culture of ePortfolios at Loyola - in your class, program, department, or beyond!

Note: This will not be a technical training or a TaskStream specific session, but rather a broader conversations about how to use ePortfolios effectively.

You are invited to participate in the 2nd summit on Friday, November 16 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus on the 4th floor of our Richard J. Klarchek Information Commons building. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please forward this to any other colleagues who may be interested in participating, and RSVP to Ashley Kehoe at akehoe@luc.edu or 773-508-6090 by Friday, November 2 if you plan to attend.
